It's really annoying when the internet goes after someone they think committed a crime. The cops always know things we don't. They have things they don't tell the public. Arm chair detectives can ruin someone's life. Being a true crime listener of course I think oh it could have been a family member, significant other, or friend. It usually is. It could also have been a customer at the bar she worked at that watched her, or a random stranger. We always watch people closely to see if we can find inconsistencies. When listening to podcasts even with police interviews I've thought could I tell someone what happened today and not mix up any of the details? Would I remember something that I add in and it would change the time line? I'm sure I would mix up a normal day much less the worst day of your life. It's hard cause many times it is a "loved" one and many times the inconsistencies do lead to the guilty person. Hope they are able to find and bring to justice the evil person who did this. Also of course Peta was upset someone killed a poor pet. That's their job.

Having worked in the bar/restaurant culture in my early 20s during the 90s, unless you had kids, you slept in "late" usually rousing in the early to mid afternoons. Just like anybody else getting off work in the 9-5 job market, we didn't go straight to bed once we arrived home/getting out of work around 2:30-3 am we had to wind down, eat "dinner" if we hadn't eaten at work followed with a beverage or two before crawling into bed around 4-5 am. So afternoons were our mornings and I feel that is what Emma was trying to point out.
