It was a VERY close one, but I think we can safely call the vote at this point: the episode after next will be about the climbing in Breath of the Wild! Thanks for your votes and topic suggestions! This ought to be a good one.
One thing that's always interested me about animation in Zelda games is how relatively vanilla it is. It's hardly the most eye-catching or polished animation out there, but it's always effective in terms of clarity and has its own unique charm. This should be a fun to dig into!
Upcoming Episodes
But first I need to finish the episode about Arc System Works's impressive 3D anime aesthetic with Guilty Gear Xrd and Dragon Ball FighterZ. Things are coming along! The audio is recorded and footage gathered, so as soon as I can get the actual edit done, it should be ready to go.
Once that one's wrapped, I'll jump onto this Breath of the Wild episode. Then after that, it's time for another 12 Principles episode. And then most likely another patron-vote topic, so be thinking of what animations you want to suggest next time!

I do have a future Patreon goal of this sort! If we reach $2k in monthly support for the channel, I plan to start doing some occasional behind-the-scenes posts , and a video outlining my production process would be an excellent early example. So yes, eventually/hopefully!
Hi Dan, do you intend to give a behind-the-scenes look into your video production process at some point? I think there might be some teachers from the old EC fanbase (like myself) still watching you who may be interested in creating videos as learning material. At least I already tried to make some video tutorials for developing simple games like Pong using Java and used it for a computer science course I once gave. However, I was not really confident with the result but also never re-did it as I had trouble figuring out a good (or rather: efficient) production process. So it might be interesting to get your input on your voice recording setup, what tools you use to edit everything together, how much time is necessary/usual for different steps, ... I understand that creating animations and combining those animations and voice lines into a video are two separate things. However, as you do both on a regular basis, it still might be interesting for some (at least me) to learn from your experience. Anyway, I enjoy your current content a lot. Keep up the good work and don´t forget to take care for yourself! Best wishes, André

Compared to the first poll, that one was indeed veeery close. But I guess it ought to happen when you pit The Legend of Zelda against Mario ^^ Enough place in my heart for both, I'm still looking forward to that episode. In the meantime, I sense the Arc System Works episode's gonna be something too o/ Hope people will keep coming up with fantastic suggestions, including those that didn't make it this time, cause they're all terrific! Thank you so much for all your work Dan, it's awesome.
