VIDEO: "TIMING - The 12 Principles of Animation"

For those of you who remember this video series back when it was called Extra Frames, you may recall a mini-series of episodes I had started making about the 12 Principles of Animation. I only finished three of them back then, and - in retrospect - their format was pretty weird. So when the time came to bring everything over to this new channel, I decided that I wanted to reboot the 12 Principles series from scratch, dropping the old format and putting more focus on how that principle applies to game animation specifically. I think the resulting episode is much stronger!
We'll be doing the rest of the 12 Principles in this way, but not back-to-back. I plan to space them out a little bit so we can maintain some fun variety episode to episode. I hope you enjoy this, though! Next up: whatever animation y'all voted for in this week's poll (which looks like it's going to be Dark Souls)!

Really like the start of this. I have no understanding of the core concepts of animation whatsoever, but this video goes a long way to breaking it down for us with a generic interest in design. Nice selection of material (and any representation for Persona 5 music makes me happy).
