I think I found out I’m allergic to mineral sunscreen so it was really hard to find an option that wouldn’t irritate my skin but also allow me to actually apply sunscreen! GIRL! I also had perioral dermatitis bc of products. I stopped with everything for a good while, only washed my face with water BUT most importantly: then I applied Cicaplast B5 Baume from La Roche Posay, and it’s the only thing that helped. I had perioral dermatitis for like 6 months, tried everything but it only got worse and worse, until I started using Cicaplast - and then it all healed out in a couple of weeks. It’s fucking amazing I swear by it!!

RE: ballerina farms and Mormons I grew up Mormon and it’s a much more conservative and demanding religion than most modern Christian churches. From a young age your dreams are discouraged if they involve anything other than motherhood. When I told one of my church teachers I wanted to go to an Ivy League school she literally said “oh you’ll change your mind when you meet a nice boy and have babies.” I don’t know much about ballerina farms but if she said she knew her life would have to change when she had children, I’d bet my life it’s because she was told her whole childhood that her dreams could only be temporary. The Mormon church has this document called “the family: a proclamation to the world” which basically says the woman’s place in the house is to nurture children and obey her husband. 🤮
