So now we know how Striker came out of his slump swinging - he had a damn fantastic plan for what was coming next. May the next act be just as good!

Guilty343

I need answers

Reno

That was a rollercoaster that broke somewhere near the top and now we're in free fall. Excellent chapter.

Caoimhín

Perhaps, but why would that make her put a knife through her own throat?

Daniel Fuller

I'm gonna make a complete guess that Damon faked Lio's death when he was born so that he could have full control of his development in his younger years. That's why Calliope called him a liar because she thinks her son died.

Eric Bloom

Jesus fuck, that put me through the emotional ringer

Dopamine Coma

Well I guess they're royally sodomised now

Mithril-blade

Ok, but why!

RJKY

The cliffhanger is way too evil. Way too evil.

RJKY

We don't know.

Antares

Great chapter but that cliffhanger why must you torment us like this?

RJKY

Absolutely.

Hoodwinked

Can someone explain the ending, I have caveman brain

MacDB

That is one cruel cliff

The first strike seems to have been the biggest factor in their clash, in that moment Dymas was able to bridge the gap between him and Polyzalus by doing what Griffon had mentioned in chapter 1.104: To deny a man’s Ethos is to refute all that he is. "You are not who you say you are, your soul is not what you claim it to be, and you have no right to speak for those that suffer under your yoke. I refuse to allow it. "Assuming the Tyrant was not who they claimed to be, assuming they did not deserve to speak for those beneath them, those they had claimed as a portion of their domain, it was possible to tear the crown from their head. It was possible to depose them from their throne. It was possible to unmake them. So long as they were not who they claimed to be. So long as they strayed from the framework of principles they had sworn themselves to, they could be disanointed." By calling out the lie in Polyzalus's words, the flaw in his Ethos, Dymas was able to cut deep.
