I almost made it all the way up the sidelines before Elliot noticed me with a surprised, but overall delighted, smile.
“Well, hello there,” Elliot said in his low, rumbling voice before his broad face broke out in a grin. “What's a pretty guy like you doing all the way out here?”
“Oh you know, I was in the neighborhood. After I made a trip down to Gillian's and picked up your favorite,” I smiled back at him with a megawatt grin and held up the plastic sack in my hand. “Reuben with fries.”
“Aw, baby,” Elliot cooed and lifted a hand to stroke my cheek with his thumb. “You're so sweet.”
“Mm,” I hummed, nearly wiggling in delight at his soft touch and affirming words.
I guess there are some things you never get over. My grin stretched a bit wider. Like how good Elliot’s praise felt on me.
“Well I thought it would be a nice excuse to come over and see how the new job was going too,” I said and put a hand on his arm.
Elliot chuckled and took the bag from my hand before pulling out a Styrofoam container and flipping the lid open. “You and your wiley ways,” he muttered, inhaled the scent of the food and then plucked a fry out and popped it in his mouth.
“So?” I prodded and glanced out at the field where a bunch of teenage boys were running drills in full gear. I remembered how hard that was in the summer heat, sweat dripping down your forehead and into your eyes -- as if the sun wasn’t blinding enough. “How is it going?”
“Pretty well,” Elliot said just before he took a huge bite of his sandwich. He nodded while he chewed, his eyes dancing over the different figures on the field with a thoughtful hum every now and again. “Still figuring things out, obviously, but it's going well. I think I'll do these guys some good.”
“I do too,” I said and looked up at Elliot with a smile. “And you’ll get it. After all, you figured out how to whip me into shape back then. Just don’t use the same methods.”
“God, no,” Elliot said with a loud, bass chuckle as he closed the lid on his food and slipped it back in the bag. “And what do you mean back then?” he asked me with a cocked brow. “I still whip you into shape today. It’s gotten a lot easier over the years though, I’ll admit that.”
My brows rose into my hairline as I watched my husband walk back to the benches and place the bag down before ambling back over to me in his slow, methodical walk. “I feel like I should be offended,” I scoffed once he was next to me again.
“But you're not, because you know it's true,” Elliot shot back without missing a beat, all while he checked his watch with another thoughtful hum.
I blinked in surprise and opened my mouth dumbly but nothing came out. He really had me there, didn't he? I was so easy to tame when someone knew which one of my buttons to press. After almost eight years of marriage, Elliot definitely knew all of my buttons.
“Okay, maybe,” I ended up muttering, more to myself than him.
Elliot laughed under his breath and shook his head before glancing at me from the side. There was a wicked glint in his eyes that instantly set me on edge. Not in a bad way necessarily, but in a way that had my body coiled in defense of not knowing what was about to happen to me. Elliot had a way of surprising me in a big way, quite often. It was one of his biggest appeals to me, in fact.
“You remember when we went to school here? And you had the biggest crush on Coach Brad?” Elliot asked me as his voice dropped down to a deep husk.
I bit my lip and shuffled my feet uncomfortably from his question. “Yeah, I remember,” I muttered under my breath.
I tried often to forget about the dalliance of my youth though. Most of them -- the Brad incident especially -- were just too cringey to bear thinking about nowadays. Until Trent’s had one too many glasses of wine and he reminds me of the whole ordeal… I mused and immediately bit back the taste of regret that rose in my throat.
Elliot slipped an arm around me and began to innocently rub my lower back. This didn't take me off the edge at all though. His seemingly innocent actions only served to heighten my anxiety and excitement. Almost a decade together meant that I knew all of Elliot's tricks as well as he knew my buttons.
“You used to have all of these crazy fantasies about how you would seduce him. I kind of hated listening to it, but you know me, I’m a good friend. So you’d tell me all of ‘em. Whenever inspiration hit you, really…” Elliot trailed off and cupped my ass before squeezing it roughly in his grasp.
I whimpered helplessly and a moment later that big hand was on my lower back again with a slow, soothing caress.
“How you were gonna blow him under the bleachers, and have him take you on the sidelines or in the locker room after a game.” Elliot chuckled and shook his head ruefully before he met my eyes deliberately. “Pretty sure you had quite a few shower fantasies, if I recall correctly.”
“I did, didn't I?” I replied in a choked voice and pressed my legs together to keep my hardening cock from showing. The subject matter may have been cringey, but I could admit that my perverted teenage fantasies were pretty hot still.
“Mm-hm,” Elliot hummed in confirmation before dipping his head down to kiss my neck.
I closed my eyes and let a low moan escape me. The sensation of Elliot's soft lips on my pulse point always got me curling my toes and smiling in glee. It also got my cock twitching in an automatic response -- as if this was a green light that we were gonna play. Any other time it would be, but right now it was just a mean, mean tactic my husband was using on me to turn me into goo.
“You know,” Elliot began in a dangerously low voice. A voice that got every hair on the back of my neck to stand at attention. “Now that I'm the coach, I can make every one of your filthy fantasies come true.”
I swallowed hard and stared at a spot in the grass with a blank expression while the cogs in my head started to turn. “Oh yeah?”
“You can blow me behind the bleachers,” his raspy voice rang into my ear and sent a shiver down my spine that had me shuddering all over. “Wear your old jersey and we’ll roleplay a bit maybe. What do you say?”
I smiled wide at the thought of playing with Elliot in such a way. It sounded like a whole lot more than just a little bit of fun. In fact, the whole concept was like having a deep itch scratched after a long time. At least, that's what I imagined it would feel like with how I was getting worked up.
“Sounds like fun,” I purred back before shooting him a seductive glance with a bite to my lower lip.
“I bet it does,” he rumbled and pressed a kiss between my eyes that had me giggling. “You can fuck your coach like you always wanted to.”
I wasn't gonna let him get to me anymore without confirmation. Especially when I would have to leave in a few minutes anyways. And I'll have to take care of myself on the way back probably. After this fucker got me all worked up…
“I'm holding you to this now, I hope you know that,” I told him with a pointed stare and crossed my arms over my chest. “You can't promise me a good time and then hold out on me.”
“Name one time I haven't delivered,” Elliot challenged me with a raise of his brow.
I screwed up my mouth in thought as my brows came together in a hard line over my eyes. When a few long moments passed where I couldn't come up with anything, I finally looked up at him and simply shrugged. Elliot only rolled his eyes and sighed.
“See? Never.” he said and threw his arms up in exasperation. “Always such a dramatic whore.”
I giggled again and glanced at my husband with a self satisfied smile. “Mm, yours.”
“Damn right,” he husked and tugged me closer by the edge of my jacket, a sly smile creeping onto his face.
Elliot kissed me hard, in a way that turned my knees to jelly, and I moaned against his lips in wanting. When he let me go I was starry eyed and panting, but I didn't really care if anyone saw. I had resigned to being a fool for Elliot a long time ago.
“You definitely will be tonight,” Elliot informed me with one more kiss to my forehead before he flashed another little grin.
“Lucky me,” I breathed and traced his rough, bearded jawline with one finger before I dropped a wink and turned on my heel.
I made sure to throw an extra ounce of swing in my hips to have Elliot’s eyes watching after me all the way down the sideline. When I looked over my shoulder for one more glance at my tall, broad hunk of a husband, I caught him staring. His eyes flicked up into mine and we both smiled when he realized he had been caught. Elliot shrugged and smiled unapologetically while I shook my head and blew him a kiss before I turned to walk away again.
Tonight, huh? I mused, still a little high from Elliot’s kiss. I wonder if I could find my old jersey by then...
