Blitz - Chapter Five
🕑 Added 2019-02-24 04:09:53 +0000 UTCI'm starting to think that each one of these chapters gets harder than the last. They seem to make me a little more insane each time, swear to God. I mean this one? Almost double the size of my normal chapter and I wrote it in the same amount of time somehow, so editing was... hell. Then again, can you really call yourself an artist if you're not going at least slightly crazy?
On another note, this is officially the one quarter mark of this gigantic, mammoth of a novel and I could not be more excited to knock this first goal out. So, if you were wondering where we are in this journey, that would be it. Just past the beginning, about to get into the meat. In other words, this process has barely begun. Let's hope that I can maintain my sanity until the end of it.
Despite how miserable I sound about all of this though, I could not be happier with this story, where it's going and where I plan to take it. This is seriously, the most invested I've ever been writing a story and I can't express how much I really hope that comes across to all of you. So, enjoy my work and as always happy reading!

I really enjoyed this one. You tackled two questions I’ve had recently. One being the Trent/Becca relationship and the trouble he has relating to his daughter. At the beginning I was wondering about the back story on the Trent/Becca relationship, thinking I had missed it in earlier chapters, but you brought it out nicely in this chapter. It seemed that Trent is growing emotionally (slowly). Just like you said, would he have run in some expensive suit in earlier chapters? Finally, your ending with his daughter was really nice to read. Maybe there’s some resolution there and the start of a great father/daughter relationship.
