It would definitely be traumatic and terrifying, but if the alternative is certain death?... bring on traumatic and terrifying.

White_Sugar

Surely youre gonna watch all the mission impossible movies!?

Purple Cowboy

Thanks, this is good to know. Although I usually have the original playing on my TV and Alex’s video on the computer/laptop

Yes working fine on Netflix but if something doesnt sync well I can recommend using a browser extension that allows you to speed up and slow down videos. For cases like this I usually increase the slower video by like 2 % and reduce the faster one by 2%. That way nothing gets sped up or slowed enough to be noticable but it stays in sync way longer

Sean OConnor

The film is a somewhat modern adaptation of the concept in Groundhog Day with Bill Murray (another great film). I think the ending of the film is perfect, as this time it is different. Each time in the movie prior, he had to explain the situation and talk to where they were in the process. This time you can feel through his reaction that for the very first time, he can explain their relationship along with the fact that they were successful in their "mission" - Perfect 'cut with credits' moment :)

LetMeSnooze

Is it just for me or does the reaction not sync up to the movie at all? I have to pause very often because the movie on my end gets ahead of Alex's. It's not just this one either but basically all, if not all, of Alex's reactions. Does anyone know why and if there's a fix? It's very annoying.

Have you never seen "Groundhog's Day" with Bill Murray? If not I think we all would love for you to react to this movie! It's really good :)

Jordan Kelly

BRO! You HAVE to watch "The Last Samurai"!! Easily one of if not THE best performances Tom Cruise has ever done.

DevilsKnight2000

A good option is to use a vpn and connect your Ip to the country you want. Thats how I viewed this yesterday on Netflix GB

In a prefect world, Emily Blunt would be the MCU's Sue Storm, with her husband, John Krasinski, as Reed Richards. I will always be bitter that this isn't happening.

eclipse

Emily Blunt doesn't remember him but he knows her completely and she knows the time reset at this stage so it will work out... just before she kissed him she said I wish I had got to know you better.... now she can... and yes it is incredibly underated.

Samantha

You NEED to see the last samarai!

Jasper Lewis

Since you mentioned Emily Blunt in the MCU, you should know she was the original black widow casting before Scarlet. She had to turn it down because of some sort of scheduling conflicts. So they went with Scarlet

Florian Hoyer

the general just wanted him to film the whole thing from behind the front line, than tom cruise blackmailed him and ur confused why he did that ? jaeh the general is an ass but in that fact he could also have him shot in wartime honestly xD

Purple Cowboy

Actually got informed in discord, “US uses "NTSC" and EU uses "PAL". So EU is effectively 29.97 frames per second, while US is 25 Frames per second.”

The Splawn

The idea of reliving the same day over and over has been done a few times before in cinema. Groundhog's Day with Bill Murray and Russian Doll on Netflix with Natasha Lyonne just to name a couple off the top of my head, have adapted that storytelling beat. Regardless, this was a great reaction and I look forward to your next one!

Allen Werner

Great reaction to an absolutely underrated movie! This movie blew my mind when I first saw it. The only current thing I can compare it to now is the final episode of Loki season 2. Time looping for as long as it takes to land at the right result, no matter how much pain... Makes you question if you could hang in there too. Glad you saw this one!

sdk

ive had this issue before I think its to do with behind the scenes stuff with videos, idk details. but basically ive always fixed it by making sure both videos are in the same quality, no idea why it works but it does. and if you cant adjust the quality manualy it just updates between 720p 1080p randomly and fucks up the timing.

DevilsKnight2000

loved your reaction to it. t'ill the next one Alex

Okay, first thing I noticed or to note. We (Europeans) don’t have access to Hulu (I’m watching it on Prime Video for example) and although I did sync it in the beginning, something keeps happening cause 6 minutes into the video, its out of sync again. I started it over twice. Dunno if there’s some kind of difference between Hulu and Prime version 🤷🏽‍♂️ I don’t know if anyone else has this happening?
