A few facts that make her even cooler:
• Emma Frost first appeared in 1980 as a villain of the X-Men. She wasn’t meant to be a long-term hero. Fans loved her so much that Marvel slowly transformed her into one of the most complex antiheroes in the universe.
• Her diamond form doesn’t just look pretty. When she transforms, she becomes nearly indestructible but loses access to her telepathy. It’s a constant trade-off between power and vulnerability.
• She founded and ran the Massachusetts Academy, training young mutants long before Xavier trusted her. Emma has always believed mutants must survive first and moral purity comes second.
