You might notice my set has changed, or is changing...I moved! More on that later, but I'm not longer at my place that I was for the past 5 years. The set will be built out over the course of the next couple months, but that's the reason for the new-ish look.

Nice Nebula Seranade! Hope we’ll hear an extended version at a key point in the new set. Like after a very energetic grid-happy tuplet dance, to cool things off with some meaningful rubato.

A note on recording to click tracks: I recall an interview with Marty O’Donnell (Audio Director/Composer for the original Halo games) pointing out the same thing in games. For Halo, a technique he used with orchestra was to conduct a recording all together without a click, then to track each part or section individually while the musicians listened back to the all-together recording (minus their own part). Curious how something like that would work outside an orchestral context, if it would work at all.
