Think Peter Kay pitches the pace of this very well, I don't really read comments often, or, know what's been suggested or voted for, but, the chap on the bike is in another very nicely paced TV series 'Detectorists' probably already mentioned previously. Yep, xxxx at the end of a note means kisses. But you can't really read much into that because over here loads of people put Xs at the end of texts, comments, notes, emails etc as a friendly sign off to friends, family, anyone they're being friendly with. It doesn't necessarily have any romantic connotations at all. Although obviously it does seem like she fancies him, I'm just pointing out that putting kisses isn't necessarily an indication of it :) I've never seen the XOXOXO thing over here, I think it's mostly a US thing and I've only seen it mentioned in US films or shows. We usually just put kisses xxx :)

A very enjoyable start to the series. I think what I like most about their relationship is that it is completely natural and the way they are interacting with each other is very plausible and close to real life “new romance” type thing. Be interesting to see how this develops.

Josh, I don't know if you're aware, but series 2 is just 4 episodes and a further 2 episodes were held back until the following year. The first of those 2 episodes was mostly improvised. Chronologically, it takes place somewhere before S02E04 and on the blu-ray/DVD set, it is classed as S02E02. That makes complete sense, IMO, because the second of the 2 held back episodes follows on directly after S02E04. I hope that makes sense.

Some things I think you missed: Say 'beer-can' in a Jamaican accent = Bacon "I love an old bike." "Anyone I know?" Calling a woman a bike is a derogatory slang term for an easy/loose woman as she'd give anyone a ride. lol

I doubt that Josh still works an actual job. If you do the maths, he's making at least $8000 (£6000) a month from Patreon members and that's an extremely conservative estimate based upon the notion that all of his Patreon members pledged at the bare minimum level.
