That’s true about Judas, sort of, it’s not made up for the show - but it’s about Thomas usually (Didymus Judas Thomas). There’s also a Gospel of Judas that basically says he acted according to Jesus’ instructions- after all if he was meant to die… There’s more to it than that but this isn’t the place to start rambling about it, the gist off the idea in Red Dwarf is based on real historical concepts

I love how they travel thousands of miles by foot to get a power source, while having Kryten who literally has power running through him right there. Surely he could have popped open his head and attached some wire in there to the device to act as a battery!

@Josh. The one you missed was a bit subtle, he said (about Lemons) “They havent been released in Europe yet” its funny because he’s using modern Vocabulary, like discoveries in ancient times were released not discovered. It’s just a funny miss use of words :)

I do love this episode, but my one complaint is that I hate how they explained the origin of Rimmer's middle name. I just preferred it being one of those dumb little jokes that has no explanation, or that his parents genuinely hated him from birth.
