Ha Noddy Holder is the only famous person to have gone to my old secondary school (decades before me lol!) The accent makes me cringe 😂

Andy Farmer

Woah I never noticed that was Noddy Holder when this was first on telly :-D hahaa, come on feel the noise lol

I can understand, spinoffs are not usually as great as the original but I am still enjoying it so far =]

... and there are the haters!

"She was a kind of midget" "isn't that a queen song" that line killed me

Chris

It's not the best thing there is but it's one of the better shows that scored so so on that poll. Certainly better than this mediocre spin off. In an ideal world he'd watch Spaced, Porridge, Auf wiedersehen pet, Detectorists and the British , original, Shameless. All sublime examples of British comedy.

Gavin & Stacey is Conference league man.

Joe Gardiner

Missing out on Gavin and Stacey?! Lol

Jay

I remember that Max and Paddy didn't really get the same praise that Phoenix Nights did, and I can kind of understand why. There's a few episodes that are absolutely brilliant, but ones like this seem to be a bit underwhelming. Always entertaining though.

Jay

I'm sure he'll get to them soon enough. Although I can imagine the stink that Gavin and Stacey is going to cause in the comments from all the haters. :) I'm personally looking forward to Spaced and The League of Gentleman, and find it weird how so many less popular comedies are getting picked over them.

Josh, YOU DA MAN

Chris

It upsets me that you're sitting through this and missing out on Spaced and Gavin and Stacey.

Ronnie Hotdog

Josh, did you notice Brian wasn't in his wheel chair in the flashback.

Kieran B

Magnet and Steel!

The mechanic guy played by Noddy Holder comes from my neck of the woods with that accent 😄 he had a Christmas number one with the band Slade ‘Merry Christmas Everybody’
