Lol I thought I was confused

Contex - It's Just A Ride

This gives me a few "Brave New World" vibes.

YaDadsDyek

LOOOL wrong show

lemmy101

musta missed those scenes :D

YaDadsDyek

Don’t get me wrong, the show is funny in parts but I skip past every time I see Ricky moping over boring videos of him and his wife..

BertFredStan

I am seriously dreading the inevitable onslaught of slagging series 7 (in particular) off. Why don't we just let Josh react?

Tony Smyth

Hold on a moment... This isn't even Peep Show, is it? I'm not supposed to be here, posing as David Mitchell. This has all gotten out of hand.

Tony Smyth

@ Kieran B: That's where I meant. I'm just happy that someone knows what I'm talking about for a change. I obviously don't.

After Work Reactions

Lol it is great =]

mrtheevilmage

1 good season left then Josh enters red dwarfs "dark years" aka: the bad years of season 7-non exsitent 9

Dave Barratt

There is a dvd version that has both the smeg ups and smeg outs on it on Amazon for about £6. Could do with ripping and hosting it for Josh to react to!

Mark Carr

It's a shame the VHS Smeg Ups tapes don't seem to be available on the online services (or even on the DVDs) - haven't seen those in years, but I remember the various clips being set up and introduced by Kryten and it being pretty fun. On the DVDs they just ran the clips without the setup, which was still cool, but the tapes made it even better.

Unnecessarily Ugly is my favourite insult from this show

Kieran B

Yeah he took on the role of exposition mouthpiece from Holly as he could walk around

Kieran B

Algeria mate, when it was a French colony

Manly Stump

I really hope you get around to watching the Smeg Ups at some point!

Kieran B

Incredible film, I think Josh will enjoy next week’s too

After Work Reactions

I agree!

After Work Reactions

Thanks bud!

After Work Reactions

LOL that was a hilarious scene =]

After Work Reactions

Awesome man I am looking forward to these next few seasons!

After Work Reactions

No Prob, thanks bud!

After Work Reactions

Oh ok thanks man. I would think that would be hard to film lol

After Work Reactions

Awesome man looking forward to it!

After Work Reactions

LOL thank you I am happy you enjoyed it!

After Work Reactions

LOL that is hilarious man!

That bit where Lister chews the cigarette up, in the outtakes (or Smeg Ups) he spits it out as soon as the scene is over and says he doesn't know why he did it 😂

Tony Smyth

You know what they say... If none of your mates are Rimmer, you're the Rimmer amongst your mates. And they're not really your mates, are they?

Tony Smyth

And this one is another one: https://youtu.be/Vb2922MPYCc

Tony Smyth

You've got to watch Robert Llewellyn's "Carpool" videos. THIS would be a good one to start with... https://youtu.be/gaP9biWd9NE

Tony Smyth

@ 17:40 Albert Camus gets a mention. He was a goalkeeper AND an existentialist from Albania who wrote books in French. He's not supposed to... I don't know how to.... Is this really happening? It makes no sense. I'm starting to feel like David Mitchell and I'm not entirely sure that I like it.

Paul Bailey

Watching all these episodes after so many years, I never fully realised or appreciated the pivotal role Kryten plays in the series. In pretty much every episode, Kryten is the storyteller and the goal-setter - he almost always has to explain to the other three what's happening, and how they can deal with it, but he fulfils this role so flawlessly you don't even notice. Without Kryten, half of Series 3-6 would be Lister, Cat and Rimmer encountering something weird, shouting "What the smeg is that?" and running away. Love this show.

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Really enjoy this episode, thanks Josh. Unnecessarily ugly lol.

Mick Mills

Yes. Video is correct, title is wrong.

Cedric Bombs

Season 5 is my favourite RD season

ALW

Great episode! Supposedly the Holoship was designed to be seen change shape throughout the episode; that's why its in a kind of Z shape when it first appears and is a straight line later; they found it too difficult to film actually happening though.

Shaun Heals

I love this episode as it gives Rimmer's character a bit more depth. Yes, he isn't the greatest exhibit of humanity but who is? If you watch all the episodes, you'll notice that it's not Rimmer that's the most antagonistic in the Red Dwarf environment. They play some real mean tricks on him. I feel sorry for him a lot of the time.

Manly Stump

He's also recently appeared in Death in Paradise alongside Danny John-Jules.

Adam C Turek

Another great series ahead of you Josh, lots of great sci fi concepts (some way ahead of their time, but we'll get to that). The Hologram that had the stand-off with Lister was played by an actor called Don Warrington. He was one of the first British Black actors to play a prominent role in a British sitcom from the 70's who was written to be the victor in situations by fooling white people on any racial prejudices. So it was a big deal for Craig Charles and Danny John-Jules to share a scene with him for their own show.

Mike Doel

Kieran yeah Jane Horrocks is amazing, great in Ab Fab, Josh needs to put “Little Voice” on his movie list amazing voice Jane has, it get s better each episode. Looking forward to Quarantine and Back to Reality

Mr K

Some of the episodes really start to feel like they could do with being a little bit longer. 🙂

Kieran B

Rimmer didn’t recognise her because he didn’t see her, they were in separate rooms, and he only knew the number of his opponent not the name

Kieran B

It’s usually this one

Michael

i think the google drive link gives the right video, but it's titled as S4E6

HobbitJord

This is my favourite series of Red Dwarf. Not sure what the popular opinion is for best series but for me it doesn't get much better than this. Hopefully you enjoy!

Michael Harrop

'I've come to regard you.... as.... people I met' Is one of my favourite lines in the entire show, and so Rimmer😂

Manly Stump

Cat's Rimmer insults are some of my favourite jokes in Red Dwarf 😂 we're really entering the golden age of RD with this season and next. Can't wait for next week's!
