I’m not too sure Netflix will see it that way. It’s a bit dodgy showing newer shows. Much safer reacting to things everyone has seen before, than brand new shows.

Loved season 1. But season 2 felt like it wanted to increase the comedy and tone down the drama, and i didn't even finish watching it.

Awesome! It's another fantastic show by gervais equal amounts heart and laughter I'd say! Also I know people aren't happy with this choice but at least we aren't tuning in on a Wednesday night like plebs to plebs or another lowbrow comedy.. yet...

Brilliant. Two almost identical soppy Gervais shows with chocolate-box sentimentality mixed with the crudest humor running simultaneously. At least it gets him out of the way. I think Steve + Ricky made much funnier shows. + Karl = even funnier.

I enjoyed afterlife so I think Josh will too as he seems to like Derek. I do think by season 2 the main plot becomes a bit tiresome/repetative though, so not sure how Ricky is going to keep everyone interested for a third series. It's the side characters that have kept me watching it so I'm looking forward to Josh's reaction to them.

Awesome result - it's not funny all the time, but I'm sure you'll appreciate it overall - it's a slow burn but that only adds to how good it is.. it's an amazing show.

Good, I was about to go back through it but I'll wait and watch it here. If you think Derek has sweet tough emotional moments then you'll going to be hit twice as hard with this one. I think it's Gervais' best acting work this one.
