When you say "take my breath away" i think you mean "walking on the moon" - Max lol

Wow it’s been a while since I’ve seen this episode and never realised before how dark it is. I think the writers were alluding to the fact that’s it’s easy in war to dehumanise people and that they are just collateral damage and all the death serves no purpose

Jake Snow

Don't eyeball me, Ghandi!

Gareth Jones

Winnie the Pooh refused the blindfold, what a hardman! I noticed there's some overlap with Blackadder here. Caligula slapping Lister reminded me of Lady Whiteadder, and the thing about advancing under cover of daylight reminded me of something General Melchett would say

Adam C Turek

Winnie the Pooh refusing the Blind Fold for execution. Baller.

After Work Reactions

I see what you mean man. I did enjoy this one but I have liked some other episodes more.

After Work Reactions

LOL thank you. He was a nice guy but sometimes talking to him would be a bit much because I haven't watched Popeye in like 30 years. But you never know someone who likes the same exact things as you are out there,

After Work Reactions

Interesting thanks for the info bud!

After Work Reactions

Oh ok thanks bud!

This was supposed to be the first episode of series four, however it's planned air date coincided with the beginning of the first gulf war. It's anti war message was felt to be inappropriate at that time so it was shunted to the end of the series.

I like this episode of Red Dwarf but I always had problems with who the writers chose as the good waxworks. Quite a few of the 'goodies' weren't as good as the accepted legends portrayed themto be, but that may be what the writers wanted.

Mr K

Skipped through it, but still don't like this episode. Looking forward to the next few, though.

Good episode :) thanks Josh. Reading about the bloke you knew who managed to get every conversation around to Popeye the sailorman made me laugh. Nice that he found someone into the same things as him though.

Great episode! Yeah the 'Light Bee' is new lore; you are right it was originally just the ship that had projectors in it, hence the cage. But that was too restrictive so the Light Bee was invented instead so Rimmer could leave the ship with the others easier.

The guy whimpering all the time is Stan Laurel (of Laurel & Hardy).
