ALW

The Ada thing always confused me, so thank you!

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Btw when Uncle Albert gets up to sing the song for Ada, the actual song isn't saying 'Ada' at all, it's 'Hey There' lol he just seems to think it's Ada. Also, when Del says Lisa will be having Welsh rarebit (also called Welsh rabbit) he meant because of the cheese Rodney bought. Welsh rarebit is basically a cheese sauce on toast.

After Work Reactions

Totally agree!

Jack Veazey

Such a good episode

bex evans

The only thing i can say without giving too much away is Florida.

After Work Reactions

Awesome bud thanks =]

Lee

It’s not fair I need a sandwich !

Keith Pratt

It looks like the original broadcast as I remember it. Most of the episodes that were edited for whatever reason on video and DVD have been restored on all the various streaming platforms, thankfully. There are two I know of that haven't, "Yuppy Love" and "A Royal Flush".

Samuel Coghlan-White

You can't make a hungry man fly

Teddy Alison

Gotta be one of my favourites. Trigger is hilarious in this episode and just gets better through the whole series.

ChrisW

hey josh where did you get this episode? i have all the dvds and even the old vhs tapes of OFAH and there was a few bits that i have never seen that must have been cut from UK releases. I dont even think some bits were ever broadcast origonally.

Dan Rosato

Yeah that happens to me, about 13:03 in

Andrew G

yeah me too joe s was better on the other links

Joe S

I don’t know if its just me but it the dailymotion video goes a bit glitchy half way through and there is sound issues?

David Jones

Syrup of Figs (an old school laxative remedy). Cockney rhyming slang: Syrup of Fig = Wig

David Harman

I watched this episode on a plane to Gran Canaria when I was 18 on my first holiday abroad with mates. Great episode made even better at that moment. Whenever I watch it takes me right back to that moment. That was 20 years ago!

Lee

The energy of the show really picks up from here. You’ve sat through most of the slow burn episodes at this stage. The, “who wants to be a millionaire” episode is kind of a slow burn but with decent morals. The show does get into full swing from now on.

After Work Reactions

LOL that was hilarious =]

After Work Reactions

Sounds like a good night man =]

After Work Reactions

LOL

After Work Reactions

LOL I feel you bud this one was hilarious!

After Work Reactions

Agreed this was a good one =]

After Work Reactions

Oh ok lol I thank you for clearing that up.

After Work Reactions

Haha lol true man =]

After Work Reactions

I thought the same thing, that is odd.

After Work Reactions

lol =]

Keith Pratt

What was cut then? I thought all the scenes had been restored. I recorded the original broadcast, but it's been well over 10 years since I saw that, and I got rid of most of my videos when I moved a few years back, regrettably. I have to say, I'm not looking forward to the "A Royal Flush" reaction. I find the available version unwatchable. I managed to get it uncut on DVD from eBay the other week.

Keith Pratt

"Chain Gang" is series 6, yeah.

Steve Small

Mummy, it's a spaceman. A spaceman 😂😂😂

NEXUS

Ive said it before but the last 10 minutes of this is the best 10 minutes of any episode, providing you understand all the slang and know the boys fondly . Glad it wasn't cut completely , there was a few cuts missing but at least it kept the banter in .

Justyn

Great episode - look forward to you watching the episode “chain gang”. Not sure if that’s the next series though

Steve King

Odd how you couldn't find the episode involving the Church yet this one includes the words "chinky" and "paki"

David Lyons

"I'd prefer to keep my feet on terracotta!" Guess you can add Latin to the list of Del's mangled languages!

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

I didn't realise, I love that film! Just googled her, I had no idea she played Rowan in that. Thanks for the info.

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

There are so many funny moments in this episode :D You probably already know this by now, Josh, but it's worth saying just in case.. some parts of Britain call the evening meal our 'tea' (as well as the drink) where I'm from we say breakfast, dinner and tea. Some places say breakfast, lunch and dinner. That's why in lots of the things you watch they sometimes mention having tea, and they're shown to be eating a meal rather than drinking tea. Sorry if you already knew lol.

Zoë

I always enjoy this episode, one of the best!

Keith Pratt

Yes. Normally One Hub is the one I use, but I had the same issue. I used Dailymotion this time.

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Any one having issues with One hub? When I go on the link it keeps saying I need to sign in to one hub, but I've never signed up for it before. Usually the link just works automatically. So I don't have a password or anything 🤔 and won't let me sign up for one.

Logan Jukes

Constant laughing from start to finish. My face hurts from laughing so much, and I have seen it about 50 times.

Daniel French

Great reaction Josh, this is one of my fav episodes from Season 5. I got a bit of a shock because on the DVD version I have, there are some bits that are cut out, most notably when Albert sings Aida!!

Keith Pratt

I've always thought this was the best episode up to this point in the series, and your constant laughter throughout validates this. Gerry Cowper who played Lisa was a child actress. She was in The Wicker Man with Christopher Lee and Edward Woodward.

AWR93

The next few episodes of this series and then the rest of season 5,6 & 7 will never be topped!

DJ Steves

One of the best Only Fools episodes! The next few seasons are brilliant

King Bloo

As an accomplished hang glider in real life David Jason (Del Boy) assumed when he read the script that he would actually be the one doing the hang gliding on camera however due to insurance reasons the BBC (somewhat understandably) balked at this and insisted on using a stuntman instead despite Davids real life expertise in the hobby.

Gary Tamblyn

Haha, I love that episode. You missed my hint, in the comments about what a Swan Vesta was, a couple of weeks ago. It’s a brand of matches that looks like this. (Red tipped match). https://kimberleyhardware.b-cdn.net/wp-content/uploads/sites/31/2020/06/vesta.jpg Ok here’s another hint for a future episode coming soon. The word “Syrup” is the slang for a ‘wig’ or ‘hair piece’.

Christopher Horner

Swan Vesta is a brand of matches. This is such a funny episode. "Get up as high as you can Del eh, you might get a tan" is such a funny line.

Ryan Lynch

After a hard week working at home, while trying to home school, I am now accustomed to chilling with a few drinks and watching along with OFAH. It's a good way to de-stress on a Friday.

AWR93

Hahaha Rodney “We don’t have a car phone Del” 😂😂
