After Work Reactions

Hi Josh, I dont know if anyone has suggested This Is England to you yet but it is a classic English programme with 3 series and a film based in the late 80s in England. It’s a classic and should definitely be up in there. Cheers bro love the stuff.

Anthony McPartlan

Great to see that Royle Family wasn't far behind. One of my favourite shows. Hopefully in the near future. Derek a good shout too

Saul

The fact that this got voted in has single-handedly restored my faith in the patrons of this channel.

After Work Reactions

LOL awesome! Hope you enjoy it, I have heard this show is awesome so I am excited for it.

After Work Reactions

Awesome man hopefully you will enjoy =]

Brett watson

What happened to league of gentlemen?

Teddy Alison

Please keep come fly with me. Also, will Brass Eye be out today?

Joe

Men behaving badly was one of my favorites

Mick Mills

Any chance of adding "The Day today" to the next poll options. If people like Brasseye, they will be fans of "The Day today" too. It would be very much a followup to Brasseye.

I'm so excited for this! I've been meaning to watch Brass Eye for a long time but never got round to it, so it's great to watch it in good company. I see it's also very short, so we'll be checking out another new show soon!

SynphamyMusic

I've watched content on here before seeing it myself Four Lions and Snatch, . The only difference to me is on here it's more like watching it with someone else, which, in lockdown, is quite useful for me.

Ben

A question for the other patrons, do you watch Josh's reaction to shows you've never seen? This wouldn't be something I'd do, I'd rather see the show first with my own eyes, so this is why I skip certain days (never seen Phoenix Nights, and only saw some episodes of Red Dwarf as a kid). I've only seen clips of Brass Eye, and as it's not a linear narrative maybe I can just watch along with Josh, but it seems odd to me to watch a reaction series before seeing it myself first. Was just curious what other peoples opinion on this is!

Alex P

Looking forward to hearing Jay Rayner's mum talking about beating off two men at once

Paul Lightfoot

Peadogedden!

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

I voted for this along with a few others because I've only ever seen clips of Brass Eye and have always meant to get round to watching it so this is perfect. Looking forward to watching along with you Josh. I've heard it gets controversial so that'll be interesting lol.

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Took me a second to realise you were joking considering there are a few people who genuinely say stuff like that every time there's a poll ;)

Joe S

Lads we need Brassic to be included for the next comedy show poll, only 12 episodes so far in 2 seasons. It’s great for anyone who’s not seen it

Someone will have to explain to him the endorsements are from real "celebs" being punk'd.

Joe Gardiner

Probably my favourite ever comedy, really looking forward to watching along with you tonight!

Daryl

What! Something I didn't vote for has won. It must be rigged! As the arbiter of comedy, I suggest either a recount or we replace this with something else I prefer would of won! 😜

Steve King

Awesome!!!!

Chris H

Looking forward to this one. Ashamed to admit I've only ever seen clips, for some reason I've never gone out of my way to watch a full ep even though I know I'll enjoy it.

After Work Reactions

I will for sure thanks bud!.

Daniel

Can't wait for this tonight!

JimmyMcBunk

Could you add “Detectorists” to the list? Beautifully written and performed comedy by McKenzie Crook (Gareth from the office).

Lew_riddle95

Yeah I think I get your gist. Satirical comedy is my favourite so deffo gonna hold of on watching any clips

lemmy101

So fkin proud to be part of a community as dope as to vote for Brass Eye in a poll lol

Lew_riddle95

Ahhhhhh right I get you Lemmy. Gonna have to read up to get some perspective before Josh releases his reaction lol

lemmy101

Haha this show is basically the inspiration for a lot of Sasha Baron Cohen stuff now I think. Chris Morris is the master

Lew_riddle95

Yeah Derek is fantastic

Lew_riddle95

Oh really Adrien. Must’ve been extremely edgy for it to have been cancelled back then. God knows what’s seen as “acceptable” on the tv now. Snowflakes want to cancel everything lol

lemmy101

Nice!!! One thing you need to be aware of, there are a lot of British celebs that you wont recognise but the thing to remember is if they are not Chris Morris or one of the main cast dressed up, have their name up and are appealing to the audience they have come on the show and been tricked into saying or believing whatever it is, as hard to believe as it may be sometimes they are not in on the joke.

Keith Pratt

Yeah, it started in early 1997. The 7th episode aired in 2001 and was so controversial, it received 3000 complaints and any future episodes were cancelled.
