That sounds terrible lol

In 1327 the deposed king Edward the 2nd had a funnel stuck into his butt and then a red hot poker was inserted which obviously burnt all his internal organs and killed him. So this was not a unheard of punishment. A better episode than the last but once you establish who the characters are it's kind of like the same joke all the time.

For a bit more of Rowan Atkinson, plus some other really good comedy actors, perhaps give The Thin Blue Line a try. It's a police comedy. Blackadder is growing on me. Never really got into it before.

Try "1" - that seemed to work for me. Otherwise spam the keyboard.

"Everybody deserves a really good meal". Man after my own heart.

Jason

Wow really? Never knew that. Couldn't get two more different performances!

If youve ever seen Raiders of the Lost Ark, the actor who plays the Bishop of Bath and Wells is the same guy who plays the evil Nazi with glasses and the symbol on his hand

Hope you both have a good christmas! I've been subbed on youtube since Ricky Gervais show and been on Patreon for a couple months now. Thanks for this year, it's been great reliving these shows with you and laughing along with you.

Great reaction Josh! This is one of my favourites from Blackadder 2. Much stronger than episodes 2 and 3 and I might even prefer it to episode 1 albeit they're both great. Miriam Margolyes makes an appearance next week as has already been mentioned and that is also a really strong episode from memory. Been a few years since I've seen it! Not sure what your plans are for Thursday and Friday's uploads but seriously, they can wait 'til the weekend! You deserve a break! Have a great Christmas, Josh! :-)

Thought you’d probably enjoy this one. It’s the Miriam Margoyles episode next week just so you know. Think her next and only other appearance is in Blackadder’s Christmas Carol (she is in one of the better episodes of S1 too). One to keep in mind is the 15 minute charity special - the Cavalier Years. Timeline wise it would fit after you’ve watched season 2, but as it’s fairly short it may be worth doing on YT instead? Just a thought This is the best quality version I can find https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x128159
