The special was made four years after they finished shooting season 4, which might be why they look a little different. Also the series were all filmed in a big studio, in front of a live audience, so that, and better tech would explain the better picture quality. Oh, and yes that was Super Hans

Yeah it looks like it was shot better because it was, only a few years but it was a bit of a "reunion" last episode in a way. I quite liked it because I dont think they wrapped the show up in the previous episode, but they did in this one. Loving your reactions bro keep up the good work :)

I'm sure (I remember) thayt they asked people to tweet or send a picture of themselves to be included in the final episode. I don't know if they told them which context it would be used. But yeah, people / fans sent selfies, including the couple in front of Father Ted's house.

I'm so glad it ended when it did, this just doesn't have that same feel to the older IT Crowd... something is just off about it. So crazy how much the world changed between 2010 and 2013 :/ This feels a bit like the hell hole that is today.

So many great moments, love it as a finale and I think it's a fitting farewell to the characters. I love when the meta conversation they have with them realising that the situations they find themselves in isnt normal. And that they always make it worse and worse and then it just ends. They never actually resolve anything themselves. Roy's 'and I'm also here' is one of my favourite lines of the show too, the acknowledgment that Roy brings absolutely nothing to that team 😂
