David Kelly (who plays O Reilly) said that the scene where Sybil hits him with the umbrella took a few takes because they trying different levels of foam padding. What you see is the scene where they used the least padding. Kelly said she was basically hitting him with a metal bar, so the pain is real

Hey man that was Fringe. It is a pretty good show I enjoyed it, of course X-files is my favorite but Fringe was really good too.

After Work Reactions

Hey man I don't have a specific schedule when I am doing movies, I do them when I have a bit of free time. I am doing about 1 or 2 movies a month right now, I hope to do 1 a week at some point. Thanks man take care.

After Work Reactions

He is great I am loving it so far. I can see the Laurel and Hardy comparison for sure. Thanks bud and take care.

After Work Reactions

LOL it does seem very believable, so I ca imagine a few people were hurt during filming. Take care.

After Work Reactions

Thanks for the info bud I appreciate it =]

After Work Reactions

Yea unfortunately it is something I might have to do to keep making videos. My goal is to have the original video up for 24 hours for you all to watch with several links to prevent crashing. After that have the edited version will be available.

After Work Reactions

Awesome thank you for the info =] Take care and stay safe.

The actor that plays Polly, Connie Booth, is actually American. She was married to John Cleese and co wrote Fawlty Towers with him.

Adam C Turek

John Cleese wrote the show with his then wife Connie Booth, she plays their assistant Polly.

I know what you mean, my brain's got so used to the old schedule I was thinking it was Bottom Sunday and then this popped up ha :) not disappointed though obviously, I love FT too.

Claire Prowse

There were a few genuine casualties during the filming of fawlty towers! I remember reading Sybil bashing Mr o' riley with the 'padded' umbrella apparently still hurt a lot! I think it's the genuine violence that make it so hysterical. !!

Jake Elliott

Hey Josh, When will you be uploading the 2nd inbetweeners movie?

Ryan Lynch

Bit of a random question Josh... A few videos ago you said after X Files finished you watched another random sci fi programme that you liked. It was like X Files (but not as good). I don't think it was one I recognised. What was that programme so I can have a look for it? (It wasn't The Lone Gunmen). Thanks.

I love Fawlty Towers, one of my all time favorites, but when I saw the Patreon email with After Work in the title I thought hell yes, Bottom is posted. No slight at all to Fawlty Towers. It was like the feeling I had some mornings where I woke up happy and normal and then realized pandemic is here, and I got jolted back to reality.
