Spoiler Free: This was a fun and funny episode. It had a Halloween vibe lol, I didn't realize it was called Friday the 14 until I looked up the title to make this post.
Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!
Granddads' face, when the cop was telling them about the escaped psychopath, was priceless lol. I love how Del will risk his life for the hustle. He knew there was a psychopath on the loose and he still wanted to fish. When he found out he was in the room with a psychopath who loves to lose he tries to hustle him out of money lmao. This was a unique fun and funny episode, I thought it was great. I just didn't expect it to end on the pool game. This episode seemed to fly by so fast.
Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!
As always I would love to read your comments below

Great reaction josh this is one of the episodes I first remember seeing as a kid, it freaked me out lol! Also I think this episode is one of the reasons they went to a longer format in the not so distance future!

I used to love this episode as a kid, it genuinely creeped me out a little bit :D especially when Del goes to make the tea and the guy's at the window.
Teddy Alison

This isn't one of the more highly rated Series 3 episodes but I have always really enjoyed it. It definitely has a different vibe but there are some very funny moments. Love the scene where Rodney loses his temper over the Monopoly and then sees the man in the window. Some classic Granddad in this ep too. I like that final scene but I do think the episode ends rather abruptly all the same.
I gotta be honest I don't find thick (is it?) girls attractive, but I'm not gonna insult them for it, lots of them woudn't find me attactive either.

Barrats is a UK company that builds houses. They had an ad running where a Barrats branded helicopter would fly in.
Dan
Great episode 👍
Hayden King
The joke Del made about the helicopter "No, its alright, its Barratts" was about a popular advert for homes in the 70's. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdkSUl-ci3Q&ab_channel=AdoreProperties
Glen Ford
The helicopter joke " its barrett's" Barett's was a big house retailor that had a iconic advert involving a helicopter. it was a famous advert at the time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdkSUl-ci3Q&ab_channel=AdoreProperties - that is the advert

Always thought this was one of the weakest eps, especially for what's otherwise a standout third series. It was first broadcast in 1983, which is around when slasher films (which I love) hit their zenith. That said, it's the first time John Sullivan really experimented with the format, moving it away from the usual Trotters-trying-to-become-millionaires dynamic and setting it largely in an unfamiliar place. There are much better examples of that later on. Btw, can't comment without leaving my customary plug for One Foot in the Grave. It's had a lot of attention in the comments in the last day, and I hope that shows you how many of us (minus one) would love to see it on your next poll!
