Don’t know if anyone’s mentioned this but the theme is by the Divine Comedy, they did their own version with lyrics called ‘Songs of Love’

It's so cool to hear someone singing the theme tune of an Irish comedy!!! Im sure it's been said before but you would love spaced and red dwarf!

Just to let you know there is another episode of father ted with Graham Norton in it called mainland I think it is in series 3 or something and before you watch it you will probably need to familiarise yourself with another British sitcom called one foot in the grave to get some of the context from that episode. Basically the main actor from that show plays himself in father ted.

Even though the first series was great, it certainly gets even better from the second season. Btw our snickers bars used to be called marathon bars hence the bit in the diary at the beginning 😉
