Why is this blurred on Patreon now :( I thought that was only done to YouTube content?

Same here, excited to see this show after so many years. Also probably some episodes I missed along the way.

After Work Reactions

Thank you! I can see why you all like this show so much. That's awesome man I hope you enjoy the reactions =]

I’ve been a subscriber on your YouTube for quite a while and when I found out you’ve started reacting to Bottom I just had to become a Patreon. This show was a staple during my adolescence, I couldn’t even guess how many times I’ve watched it (I even recorded them from the TV airing back in the day and those tapes wore out!). I went to every one of the live shows they did and had the script books too. I’m so happy you enjoyed it and even though I can quote every line, sitting watching your reaction makes me feel like I’m sharing it with a mate for the first time. Fantastic..

After Work Reactions

I will for sure check those out thank you so much. It's interesting to learn about all these shows.

Happiest Aku

If you love them in this, Ade Edmondson and Rik Mayall, you will probably like them in The Young Ones which they did before this show. Also after the three seasons of Bottom, please watch the Bottom Live Shows. They are brilliant, especially Bottom Live 3: Hooligans Island. And unfortunately, they were planning to do a Season 4 a few years ago but Rik Mayall passed away as they started talking about it 6 years ago.

I grew up watching this. I love it. And peep show of course

Rich Moyse

Bottom was my favourite growing up, so funny and silly, Rick mayall (Ritchie) is a national treasure, hope you watch them all and don't take them too seriously, it's gold

Luke Barron

You will love these. Episode 2 is amongst the best of them too. Richie is so eccentric.

After Work Reactions

Thanks for watching! I really apprecate it and look forward to continuing with the show =]

After Work Reactions

After Work Reactions

Very true, comedy tends to much more tame now a days. Thanks for watching!

After Work Reactions

After Work Reactions

That's awesome man =]

After Work Reactions

Thank you for watching! I will for sure have to check those out at some point, thanks bro

After Work Reactions

OMG that's hilarious, yea I don't think any teacher here would have been able to get away with letting kids watch this. Schools are basically at the mercy of parents so they have to be overly careful about what they even say.

After Work Reactions

That's awesome you all have that. I think that it makes a show so much more hilarious =] Thanks for watching man

Also, I much preferred watching this on Vimeo! I find Daily Motion really glitchy sometimes and it does my head in so I'm really really glad you've switched over 👍

These two worked with eachother for a very long time. One of the earlier shows they did was called "The young ones". It's quite surreal at times, but much of the same beating the turd out of eachother, combined with seeeeriously odd plots.

You won’t believe how excited I got when I saw Bottom was your newest react. Im really happy you liked it, Bottom is an amazing show, it honestly gets funnier. It’s stupid, disgusting and rude. Rik and Ade are an amazing double act they have done loads together. I cried when Rik died, never cried over a celebrity death before then.

Claire Prowse

Such great unfiltered comedy back then! Sooo miss Rik Mayall true comic genius! Thanks so much for that reaction! ❤

David Williams

My God those prices for the drinks. I'd forgotten how old these were :D . When comedy could be crazy and just silly.

Funnily enough, I'm watching an episode on tv right now, lol. Sooo glad you're watching this. I grew up with this stuff. It was in air on bbc, now regularly shows on channels in the uk at least such as "Dave" and "Gold". Will watch shortly and laugh along :D

TheHigh

such nostalgia , used to watch this with my dad when i was like 6-7 ahah r.i.p rik !

So happy to see this upload. Bottom is one of my all time favourite shows. Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson were a great comedy duo. They also did 5 live tours of Bottom TY throughout the years, each with its own unique plot. They’re pretty long though so I dunno if you’d wanna do reactions to them but I’d definitely recommend checking them out if you get a chance.

Bottom used to air on regular TV (BBC 2 I think) back when we had about 4 channels. I used to watch it when I was a kid. When we were at school, on the last day of the year we were allowed to bring in a video and the whole class would choose what to watch. One kid brought a Bottom video in and our teacher let us watch that 😀 we were about 12. I don't think that would be allowed nowadays lol.

YES this and IT Crowd are two of my favourite shows of all time. So glad you're doing them :) worth noting that in the UK we have a "watershed" so that after 9PM all the shows (cable or satellite) can feature pretty much what they want, as far as language/nudity/subject matter go. This aired on BBC2 so a fee was paid to watch it, however things like The Inbetweeners was shown an on over the air free to watch channel (channel 4).
