Oh cr@p. I saw Ben's announcement of the 200$ discount but I had other priorities for a few days. Tried to order the Play+ upgrade just now, and ran into the limit too. Having been a fan & supporter of Benn for a long time, I have to say I was a bit disappointed ;-/. I hope some of us Benn Patreons get another chance...

I saw the video earlier but I didn't realize there was such a great deal with this. No worries, it's still a cool upgrade and I'm happy to support this. That said, $300 for the upgrade would have lined up a bit better as the average used price on Reverb for November 2023 was $549, increasing to $600 if you go back to September 2023, and $688 back in November 2022. Now the old model will be worth about $400-450.

They must have, because this "please include old accessories." is not in my email either, *and* I called Polyend US early this morning -- the employee on the phone wasn't quite sure what to do/answer, but finally said, "just send the unit". This sucks because the old SD card is indeed super slow, it's great news that they fixed that, but I was told to keep the card.

The order confirmation email I received from Polyend for the upgrade doesn't say anything about including accessories.

So we are just ignoring this part of the confirmation mail? To ship - please include old accessories. New accessories will come with the new unit. Please store your projects on your computer and include the microSD card. SD Card - Play+ has a new card optimized for faster loading, do not use the old SD cards.

Yeah sorry I tested the code shortly after and it didn’t work. Though just now I did try to apply again and it worked (didn’t buy tho, emptied the cart). Seems like they’re adding more to the limit occasionally?

I called Polyend US and they told me I could just ship the unit, which I did.

That is (was) a generous code, thanks Benn. $400 would not have worked for me, $200 does. For those shipping in the US, don't take my word entirely for it, but I called Polyend US and they told me I could just ship the unit and keep the rest -- which is less weight to ship. Fedex still charged me $50 for CO to FL, but somebody told me they got a much better deal with USPS. Your mileage may vary.

And to clarify it was $200usd off. I think the other poster found that it seemed to do “200 money units off” so for buying in Poland it was only the equivalent of ~$40usd

Agree. I'm not inclined to pay full price for the upgrade -- I do not think it's a good value at $400; but, $200 is, IMO. That said, at least an upgrade path is offered, which does say something...

I'm in the same boat as @zenkick and feeling super sad about it, since I've been trying their site for the past 90 minutes. Can you talk to them, Ben? This isn't a trivial discount; it's more like the difference between "worth it" or "not".

Aw man. I've been trying since the update here. Coupon was accepted and then checkout always timed out. Now that the site is working better... "there are some issues with the items in your cart" and coupon limit reached. :/

I had the coupon in my cart and went to login to my account. When I came back the coupon was no longer being accepted... says it reached its limit... You've obviously had a great impact on their sales today! Hopefully they add the coupon back in... I had it and then it was GONZO.
