Jamel & Jiang (NSFW)
🕑 Added 2022-02-24 23:18:59 +0000 UTCFirst of all, I wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your love and support is my biggest motivation to get up every day and keep on doing what I do for the past 6 years. That's why I'll continue drawing Joe & Lolo's story for my Patrons here. ❤️❤️ The changes I make on my social media won't affect my Patreon in the future.
On my social media accounts, Jamel & Jiang are gonna take over the Daily Life comics as the new protagonists from now on.
With Cancel Culture and all the Social Justice Movement on major social media, it became increasingly difficult for me to tell the story of me and my boyfriend through Lolo and Joe - two white caucasion men.
I can't complain anymore, 'cause the minute I do, some shit faces in the comments on social media are gonna shut me up by reminding me of the so called "White Privilege". I can't make any joke, 'cause someone from some minority group on the internet will be offended and try to cancel me. If I make fun of women, I'm misogynist. If I make fun of any people of color, I'm a racist. If I make fun of old people, I'm agist. God, those son of bitches have ZERO sense of humor. Basically, I can't make any joke anymore, ‘cause some Twitter assholes are gonna find some kind of reason to be offended and cancel me. Those SJWs might not be the majority of my fan base, but each one of them probably have a dozen twitter accounts, so they can flood my social media with false reports and hundreds of insults in no time with their shadow selves. (I’m not kidding, it happened ) In conclusion, it’s probably easier to tell my story through Jiang (Asian) and Jamel (Arab), cause the next time I get cancelled for telling a joke, at least I can cancel them back by calling them « racist » and « islamophobe » . Yeah, the Cancel Culture works both ways, babe.

I am a little surprised, confused and perplexed at the change of characters (because it's all News to me), but I'm glad to read "boyfriend" and I understand the choice/s made. Well maybe I could do with a change, I wouldn't mind seeing more of Jamel, but I'm glad I'll still see you and Joe here on P. Hope everything continues to go well for you and your art ... I especially hope sometime after Easter I can commission you, if you have the time and after I've saved up some more. Thanks for the update!

But changing the characters from white men doesn't change who you are, lol. People who would argue about white privilege would be focused on the cartoonist, not the characters.

Also l think a foursome is needed with joe and lolo with these 2 🤔😂😂😍😍❤
i don't think caving in to Twitter bullies is the right decision, but i respect it and will continue to support you! i love your comics and no amount of cancel tweets will change that ♥️ plus, i find it hilariously ironic that an Asian artist is pressured by yte folks to be more inclusive, they're all hypocrites

Song, I've supported you for years and will continue to do so! What I say to the haters is they can go FUCK themselves, and get a fucking LIFE. Pathetic cowards..... I too look forward to seeing what Jamel and Jiang's relationship is like. DO squeeze in a few more BIB panels, please?

I’m in full support of your decision and I hope you can finally shut up those people who leave you horrible comments because they can’t take a joke. P.S. No matter which characters tell the story, all that truly matters is that you’re the one who creates the story 😊 Your Patreon’s have your back 😁👍🏻
I love both, so it's great news you are going to publish about everyone. I love every piece of your work!

I won't complain either! I got off of Twitter totally, it takes up too much time and I see all the snarking and fighting, and how people's lives can be destroyed over NOTHING. You do whatever you need to do, and we'll be here for you! I personally would love to see everything you do! I love your work so much!!

If you decide to include a few of Jamal’s & Jiangs adventures here, I won’t complain 🤤😜 With this said, thank you 👍🏼🤗
