Animate Characters for the game
🕑 Added 2021-05-25 21:49:49 +0000 UTCA little update on the game development.
I spend a lot of time learning live 2d today, so that my characters in the game could actually move a little bit, and appear more lively, not just stick figures. Even though I'm still learning how to rig a 2D art to create the illusion of 3D, I'm happy with the early result (please watch the video above), and hopefully I can put all I learnt into the game soon.
Although it's a very time consuming process, I feel it all worths it when the character comes to life on my screen. I know with Live2D, you can do so much more, to the extent of making an actual animation.
I've known this software for a long time, but I have always been afraid to spend time learning it, cause I've never had enough time when I make comics on a daily basis. Now I actually allow myself to have time to do all this extra learning, I really enjoy it. And hopefull all these learning will soon result in a better looking game.
Have a great day.

And the good news is that you'll be able to animate every single part of their body ;)

Is it just me, or is this pretty hypnotic? Like, I think I could stare at it for hours....

This is amazing! Even just that small bit of motion really brings him to life and really sets your work apart from other dating sims.

Extraordinary. Beautiful work, it adds to your already incredible art and brings it life even more. I wanted him bad before, but now I am positively famished for some daddy Richard loving. He's so gorgeous.

Song! This is really great work so far and is really paying off! The amount of detail and care that you're putting in is definitely incredible. This is definitely worthwhile for a real mass release if you keep it up!
