Super Gear comics "working in progress"
🕑 Added 2021-02-04 11:47:41 +0000 UTCI read all the comments on my last post and I see a lot of you love to see my "working in progress" images from Super Gear (Comic Book Version), so here's the first page of the next chapter.
I'll try not to spoil anything about the plot of the story, so hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised when you actually read the final result.
And I have to say, I've had a lot of fun creating this chapter as well. Until very recently, I still felt like I was creating comics for my Instagram Feed, which means I had to work fast and post as much as possible to get my follower's attention. That was not very fun, to be honest. Now after I quit Instagram and social media in general, I can allow myself to have the luxury to take my time, and really enjoy the creative process. And I'm quite happy about it. As you might notice on this page, I even spend extra time to draw "unecessary" things (Yep, the naked flying superman probably won't be in the final release, but I had fun drawing it).
My main goal for now is not to produce as many posts as possible, but is to really finetune the story and the art. And allow myself to put trivial fun detail like this in the comics. Lol
Everything you see until now are still working in progress, which means things can be changed until the last minute. Since I work digitally, I can make as many changes as I want to the art. So I might decide to change certain things in the story as the story goes on. For one, I probably won't be putting a lot of flying naked superheroes in the final version, unless you guys want me, too. XD

I agree with the previous comments, letting yourself relax and enjoy your work is much better than getting snowed under by the pressure! The little details are one of the things that make your work so beautiful/enjoyable. You can go back and look at it again and again and then you see something you didn't notice before and it makes it fresh again.
