July and August: 2 Sets of Half Demons!

I can't express how much I am grateful for all the great ideas you gave me in the last post.
I want to explore so much aspects of the Mezzalfiends (halfdemons) that I will make 2 very different sets for them in July and August!
July will have heavy armored Mezzalfiends themed on the fiendish forge, while August will have some dynamic and fleshed out infiltrators/bards/assassins halfdemons and some really interesting characters, as the alluring and towering Prince of Intrigues, and his lieutenant demon lady, with a snake tail and various arms.
July: THE PLANAR FORGE
Mezzalfiend Set 1
In July, as described in the previous post, we will have a set of Mezzalfiends in heavy armour (see the pic above for the first 3 modular), with some very special figures themed on the Planarforge and their minions. Including a huge demon called the Soulforged, who will be made of flesh and twisted metal!
Unit: Mezzalfiend in heavy armor (see pic).
Unit extra: flying Imp Minions dragging huge heavy tools and weapons.
Hero: Invoker Cambion-like demon on a planar disc
Hero: Fiend Blacksmith
Epic: The Soulforged
Pinup: Mezzalfiend Weaponmaster
August: CITY OF INTRIGUES
Mezzalfiend Set 2
In August, we will explore the warm capital of the southern sandy wastes, a city of intrigue and secrets, where information is worth more than anything else.
The Mezzalfiends who live in this city are infiltrators and assassins, lovers of art, music and good wine.
They work for the Prince of Intrigue, a ruthless shape-shifting Mezzalfiend whose real appearance is that of a towering Demon. He is part of the council of this glorious city, along with familiar faces such as Djinn Alzakhma and his assassins Rakshakin.
The Mezzalfiends of this set will be perfect as bards and assassins, they will have hoods and practical and light weapons.
The Prince of Intrigue will appear both as a hero in Mezzalfiend form and as a towering demon alluring with many arms and hoof legs.
The prince's right arm will be a female demon with four arms and a serpentine tail.
Unit: Mezzalfiend Infiltrators/Assassins/Bards
Unit extra: probably the infiltrators in mounts
Hero: Merilith-like fiend with snake tail and several arms
Hero: Prince of Intrigue (Mezzalfiend form)
Epic: Prince of Intrigue (Alluring Towering Demon form)
Pinup: Succub
A very quick concept (it was just for personal use) to remember the kind of attire I want to use for the following release. Open large shirt and jewels, and other kind of clothing that suits these infiltrators in a desert city.
Things are still evolving, as It's really hard to plan the creative process and the new ideas that will arise in the next days.

Yeah, succubi have been done to death - lately it seems that every fantasy-themed STL Patreon & Kickstarter have done succubi as 'special bonus' models, and they all blend together into one boring mass to satisfy the male backers who never outgrew the 'boobies!' phase... Incubi would at least be different.

Love all the above suggestions! A few more: - hideous zombies / mutants (inspiration could be Nurgle or Chaos Spawn from Warhammer /40k) - seconding insectile monsters :) - planar elementals - ghosts - amphibians / bullywugs - evil faeries / fey

Yes, it's a possibility, it depend on how much time I have :) The idea was just written down before i forget, but things are costantly evolving during the sculpting and concepting :)

I never plaid starcraft, but it looks like those insect-like creature works great with the Zeek we have in the depths of Mundus, or in the Aera's Scourgeland. I'm going to make more of them hidden in other releases, like the one in this set (hive colossus), the Zeek from the Scourgeland survivor, the huge one from the Kobold and so on. About the rest, they perfectly fit many mount we or extra units I want to make on extra releases, or Epic models :)

Wouldn't it make sense to just have the Marilith as the pinup for part 2? Actually, given that there's arguably a surplus of succubi out there already, you could even turn it into an Incubus and have TWO pinups that month: one male, one female, both perfectly on-theme. Thoughts?

Yeti, bulette, hell hounds, slaads, cloaker, fomorian, giant centipede, gorgon, hook horror, hydra, phase spider, or even better than random selection: a were animal set (wolf, bear, rat, etc) or best of all: a Zerg type of release (zergling, hydralisk, ravager, roach, etc) Your awesome style I feel would create some amazing Zerg to infest the realms

Please vary the horns! Deer-like, ram-like, ibex-like, Oryx-like. And Im very much a fan of more bards, or at least Standalone Lutes, guitars and other instruments to digitally kit bash into other of your models (if I can't find a good bard model, which is often, I just have to make it).

One thing I would suggest (and I see on the preview image that you have already done a bit of it) is make them have different horns: short, long, curving, straight, goat-like horns... I think that would make each half-demon pop out as a specific individual. And will not look like every one of them is related :) For the mounts on the infiltrator set, nightmare demon horses would be cool, and it is something we do not have yet. Keep up the good work. I have no doubt that the sets will look awesome.
