Sketches made for January '21
🕑 Added 2020-12-01 11:58:55 +0000 UTCHello guys!
Welcome to a new Artisan Guild month :)
Thank you so much to the ones who decided to stay with us one more time, it really means a lot to us.
The Sylvan Knights Set togheter with the 3 Bonus modular Greatgoblins (bugbear proxies) are coming probably tomorrow, and in the meantime we want to show you some additional sketches for january.
For this time the crave to work on the Frostmetal Clan was too much, we really felt the need to make these heavy looking orcs and ogres from the frozen lands.
We recently bought a Remarkable 2, and it's really a super fun device to quickly sketch when you are not at home.
Here's also a early 3d sketch for one of them:
As you may have hinted from the big sketches moodboard, the Epic mount figure will be a huge armored furry prehistoric rhino, optionally mounted by a huge immortal Ogre Warlord deathknight. The additional (recently unlocked) 3 Cavalry Units will be frostmetal worgs, wich will be fairly compatible to the older orc barbarians with minimal editing aswell.
To enlarge the sketch, right click and open in a new Tab.
Back to work :)
See you soon!

I have the original remarkable tablet and I love it! Glad to see someone else enjoys having a notebook wherever they go as well!

Sneaky guys wear leather armour because it’s literally made of Hide.
Shawn Polka
Looking forward to it. I didn't know I wanted a giant furry rhino mount, but here we are, and now I do. :)
Johan Torstensson
Would be great with some leather armour type also, since Bugbears are quite sneaky

yes perhaps it's even better. Why not both? :)

What about warhammer for Warlord? It could be epic.

Any update on the release of old models with the new pre supports? 🥺 No set was released last month
Danilo Cruz
Awesome sketch! Specially the mount and the warlord. About the great goblins a.k.a. Bear Tribe, please make them a full faction (on your pace) for the next months. Pleeease.... 🙏🏼🥺 They are too good to be restricted to 3 models. “Let da bears roar!”
Adam Randall
Can't wait, looks incredible. Helmet options are nice to see, hopefully they make it in. These will supplement the existing orc and ogre sets perfectly, I'll be using these guys as leaders and veterans.
