Ooh! Good point! My suspension of disbelief made me think of those iconic diner napkin holders that are black cast iron boxes with aluminum faces and inner workings, but they didn't say that!

We have a problem. So this has been bothering me for a while. When Ava tells Leif to make a magnet to move the 'aluminum napkin holder', I didn't notice it the first few times I listened to this episode. But it hit me that aluminum is not magnetic. So not even an electromagnet could attract or repel aluminum.
