That sucks. I really liked the bus project. I was hoping to see a different ending. But still love seeing your content. Also love catching you on Jared Pink's videos

Alvis the Homs

can we still call it the bus dungeun?

Aaron Ries

So the Escape was a testbed for the hybridization for the bus, right? So what's the plan with the Escape now? Do you plan on keeping the E-scape or are you thinking of putting the drivetrain into something else? 900hp awd Trabant? OOH maybe a 3 wheel drive 900hp Reliant? That'd be fantastically dumb!

Justin Tokke

It's too bad. May it rest in pieceadabus.

Gene Dassing

Your excitement at all the reclaimed space is palpable! As a NYC apartment dweller I am totally jealous of your space to store and tinker. The metal piece of the bus will live on my fridge as a reminder that sometimes its OK to re-evaluate your priorities. Cheers!

Kristian Høy Horsberg

The bus dungeon is no more; from the ashes a new workshop rises. It's obvious you know this was the right choice.

Mark Brakenhoff

So much room for activities!

Nuno Campos

Great, one less problem!

Aging Wheels

I installed a mini split in there a little over a year ago. Heat and AC are no longer issues!

Kevin Campbell

Clearly a great decision from so many perspectives. That bus had become an albatross, accusing you as it hulked there occupying space. Space you can now use to be liberated creatively . There are life lessons here for all of us

Philip Holland

Congratulations. You seem ebullient, clearly the right thing for you to do. Having a long-term project that’s lost its purpose is a mental drag that you don’t need.

Nuno Campos

The bus was a gigantic project. I loved watching you working on that during the pandemic. But I understand why you got rid of that. Having that studio and work space is more valuable. I remember you complaining about the heat in that space. Will you do something about it?

Misha Dellinger

I loved watching you playing with your big ass buss on video! But I guess it's time to move on. I do think you should save up for a trip to Europe. Do some meet-and-greets and go kick the tires on a bunch of Trabants. There's a super active community for those. Oh, and go see the HubNuts.

Gabe Wohlers

Very glad you made a decision you're happy with, but I'm bummed we'll never see that large electrified project come to life. On to things you're enjoying more!

Ieuan

Gonna miss the buss as a concept, but I can totally understand how it has very limited value compared to the space it took up and the time it needed

Fin Ren

I liked the bus, but I like you having a clear head more. Sometimes you just need rid of a project so you can get excited about others again and you have gone full steam ahead here, so I’m excited!

Wojtek Gabrielli

the title scared me. "no more bus and (no more) any other updates", that's how my brain processed it

Remco

Good decision. This gives a lot of room in your shop and I don't doubt also in your mind. Thanks for the update!

Christer Solvik

Good for you! I will miss the bus project, but as long as you are happy that is what matters! Good luck with you're new space 😁

Aging Wheels

Proooobably not. Two lifts is too much space commitment

Henry Oberholtzer

Sounds way more creatively promising than dealing with the dread of working on a project that no longer had much meaning!

H. V. Fisher

Congrats on getting the Thomas-built albatross off your back! Glad to hear how happy you sound. Looking forward to the new videos from the newly bus-free space.

Tim Pearson

Congrats on the progress, you sound more relaxed and happy with your new space.

Talen Millerberg

All of these things happening at once has sent me into emotional whiplash. But congrats Robert!

Matthew Rotchford

Do you think that now you have more space there’s a possibility that you could get 2 lifts, one for long term projects and one for short term projects?

LevyNeptune

Bummer we'll never see the finished project but You seem super excited about all the new space you have!

Allan Clipperton-Boyer

YOU? YOU have restraint? 🤣 maybe when you're wearing a seat belt ...

Noah

NO NOT THE BUS. may it rip

Camerean Mosbrucker

Bus was super exciting when you started, but if you didn't want to do the project anymore, none of us are going to force you to keep working on it

Caleb Merriott

Ding dong the bus is dead. Excited for the new space and for everything that's to come in the future!

Nigel

Looking great! Seems like a big win. Getting the bus out of your hair for free is great, scrap metal money is bonus IMO.

Lucas

Good for you. I’m glad you’re so excited about all the space. Gonna be fun
