Alright I'm gonna take an educated guess on what that blur is. Judging by how absolutely tiny it is, the fact that the doors open upwards, the fact that it's electric, and that you can see the headlight around 8:36 ish in the vid, I'll go ahead and say it's probably a Twike. Specifically one from the late 90s

Because Regen braking! If I had any plans to use the Escape in a scenario where repetitive braking was involved (like the track) the brakes would overheat, but that's not where this will be used. Stock brakes plus negative torque from the motors is perfectly adequate.

One thing I never asked, Robert, why did you keep the drum brakes for the Ford Escape? For a car that heavy with that much power, it seems foolhardy to not put the best possible brakes on it.
