YouTube decided to recommend your Buffy pilot video to me, and I saw you were brand-new to Buffy, so I immediately hopped over to Patreon to watch it all. This is a fun season, and it's also nowhere near as good as this show actually gets. It's the first season with all the growing pains of being the first, so if you enjoy it, then you are in for an absolute treat with future seasons!

It was a mid-season replacement show, which is why there are only 12 episodes in the first season. No spoilers, but the first season is kind of like Joss getting to finish what he started with the movie, so S2 really kicks off the show... but you'll get some important foundational info in these first 12.

I remember watching this series in the 2000's. It wasn't something I watched regularly back then, but I enjoyed it whenever I came across an episode on tv, so I haven't watched it all from start to finish like diehard fans, but it will be nice to watch it with you from the start and onward, now I can really do so.
