This is definitely one of my favorites in the show! I think after this episode is where you really start to get into the more impactful aspects of the show. The acting seems to improve and the plot seems to become a little more emotional. At least in my opinion.

It pains me to say but I actually kinda like the Glee cover of "Friday" (one of the stupidest songs ever written). Even if the lyrics are dumb, it shows what a huge difference it makes to have people who can actually sing and have rhythm. One of my favorite subtle visuals is Dave obliviously awkward-dancing while Santana does a double-take when she sees someone wearing her dress. https://youtu.be/rkIPy1Sx2ro?t=65 I wish Kurt had worn a sporran with his kilt.

My favorite performance in this episode is Rolling in the deep with Rachel and Jessie, but Jar of hearts was great too and all the other performances were also good, even though with Friday just as some songs in the show it feels like, that they only performed it, because it was popular/trending at the time. I understand why Kurts dad said, what he said, but the outfit Kurt made looked great on him, and I love that Kurt went and just owned it in the end, when they thought, they could get him down as a joke by making him prom queen. The next episode has one of my favorite group performances in the series.
