When Donna is crying and pleading saying “just save someone, not the whole town, just someone” not only do I cry every time, but you truly get to see her humanity juxtaposed with the mind of a Time Lord who understands the nature of time and how you can’t be lead by emotions as something just have to happen. But like always, the Doctor’s companions save him just like he saves others. They gift the Time Lord with their humanity.

One of best episodes, Donna's performance in this episode is truly amazing. The doctor having that terrible choice to make, just feel so bad for him. Heart felt reaction jay, and felt the tears with you during the tardis scene at the end 😢
