• Peddling note technique – Keeping one note consistent throughout a chord progression adds stability and cohesion.
• Chords informed by melody – Chord choices can be influenced by lead melodies, making them feel more natural within a track.
• Finding the right interval relationships – Small shifts in note placement can create strong emotional connections within a progression.
• Cadence and resolution – Certain notes act as “leading tones” that guide the listener back to the root chord, making the progression feel satisfying.

its interesting how sus chords seems to go so well with supersaws. On a piano they sound totally awkward. 7ths and 9ths sound also so big on supersaws, but on piano they sound too jazzy. I think the theory term for them is clusters
