AI ๐ค) The Oath of Steel ๊ฐ์ฒ ์ ๋งน์ธ
🕑 Added 2025-02-11 08:25:45 +0000 UTCNeo Frontier, a city once hailed as the pinnacle of human progress, now stood on the brink of collapse. A rogue faction known as "Erebus" had hijacked the city's neural grid, threatening to plunge millions into darkness and chaos. They werenโt just terrorists; they were architects of digital warfare, seeking to reshape the world through destruction.
Chief had fought countless battles, but this wasnโt just another mission. This was a war for control over the future itself.
Leading an elite strike unit known as "Aegis Division", Chief deployed into the heart of the city. His cybernetic enhancements allowed him to move with unnatural precision, his steel-forged limbs absorbing the impact of each step as he advanced through the desolate streets. Surveillance drones flitted overhead, feeding tactical data directly into his neural interface. His team synchronized seamlessly around him, professionals trained for situations exactly like this.
"Multiple hostiles at the control hub, fortified position," one of his operatives reported.
"Then we make a new entrance," Chief replied, his tone unwavering.
With calculated force, the squad initiated their assault. Gunfire erupted, but Chief advanced like an unstoppable force. Rounds deflected off his reinforced armor as he plowed through enemy lines. His cybernetic arms shattered barricades, his movements efficient, calculatedโmerciless.
Erebus had anticipated an attack, but they hadnโt anticipated him.
As he reached the main control chamber, the doors locked behind him. A distorted voice crackled through the speakers.
"You're relentless, Iโll give you that. But you can't stop what's coming. We are the evolution of war. You? Youโre obsolete."
The cityโs core network flickered on a massive displayโa countdown. Five minutes until total systems collapse.
Chief didnโt flinch. He had faced men like this beforeโthose who believed power came from behind a screen. Tapping into his neural link, he engaged directly with the corrupted system. The data storm surged into his mind, the Erebus virus fighting to consume everything.
"You're too slow, old man," the voice taunted.
Chief exhaled. "I donโt need to be fast. I just need to be absolute."
With a final surge of willpower, he overrode the system, cutting Erebusโs control at the source. The countdown froze, then disappeared. Power surged back into the city grid as the defense systems realigned. Emergency sirens howledโlaw enforcement was regaining control.
The security doors slid open, revealing the last surviving Erebus commander. The man reached for his weapon, but Chief was faster. A single, brutal motion sent him sprawling to the ground.
"Itโs over," Chief muttered.
Outside, dawn broke over Neo Frontier, its skyline bruised but standing. Chief surveyed the city from atop a ruined skyscraper, his gaze steady. The battle was won, but there would always be another war. Another enemy lurking in the shadows.
But as long as he stood, the darkness would never consume the light.
Because he wasnโt just a soldier.
He was the unbroken will of steel.
