Episode 1 on steam?
🕑 Added 2019-05-17 22:37:51 +0000 UTCSeveral people have recommended I put Episode 1 on steam, and I have for a while considered doing just that. Publishing on steam could bring in a larger audience that can help fund the production of Episode 2, and if the artists who's work is in the game are okay with it; maybe even some direct funding in the way of sales.
That being said; should Episode 1 end up on steam with a pricetag higher than "free" I would do what I can to give all my current patrons a free key, for you it would be free either way~
The immideate downside of putting Episode 1 on steam is the time requirement. In publishing on a mainstream platform I would like to give the entire episode a round of polish, as far as playing the game goes it is unlikely it will be any difference, but I would like to revamp the code for efficiency at the very least. I estimate it would take 2-3 weeks.
And so I pose the question to all of you: should I take the time to touch up Episode 1 and put it on steam? or is the time frame too long? Either way no funds will be diverted, it will all still go to the purchase of art for Episode 2, and I would be happy to personally fund the publishing cost of steam. Please let me know what you think~

I wpuld be totally down with you uploading it to Steam! The bragging rights alone...I would totally be like 'I drew art for one of the games on Steam!" Hahahahhaa
If you feel that is what's best then go for it.
I completely support you putting it on steam for free. Ep 1 to help bring in more members on Patreon then ep 2 should be charged for price would be up to you. This is IMO
