Episode 2 Weekend Update
🕑 Added 2018-09-02 02:46:33 +0000 UTC The plan last week was to finish up the last pawnshop favor, remove the health system, and start writing for Eva.The final favor has been written, now all that remains is to write the scene where the hyperdrive actually gets purchased. The health system has been removed. And I have started adding Eva to the game.
While I planned to write the first scene for Eva and work forwards from there I have decided on a slightly different route. Since most of the back-end code from Carver could be reused for Eva I have fully implemented her as a relationship character with placeholder texts as opposed to implementing just the first scene. It is technically speaking already possible to go through her entire date chain and end up with her being your girlfriend, but for the moment all the texts are "insert date text here" etc. x3
Next week I will be writing for the most part. I want to get the "buying the hyperdrive scene" done, and with Eva implemented I will be spending some time writing scenes for her as well.
This week's image is not actually from a game scene, but rather from a reference sheet drawn by Shadify - for those who have played through and found the tentacle farm, say hello to Jenny :3
Until next time, have a good one :3
