I Need Some Time Off

This is the part of the year where you’re unhappy with me. I really, really need a break you guys. I had such grand plans to get so far ahead by the end the of year, but I’m just barely treading water. And I know this is very VERY last minute, but, as a Christmas present to myself, I’m going to take the rest of the year off.
I’m sure this is not what you want to hear, and I’m sorry to say it, but I’m just so tired (I couldn’t even mange to post a schedule last week- miraculously, I think everything came out properly, but I couldn’t handle doing one more thing last week). And I hate opening my email because I’m so afraid one of you are going to be telling me I forgot something, or messed something up, or asking about Vimeo (which was also supposed to be fixed by the end of the year, but that’s not happening, apparently) and I just don’t have the time (or energy, to be honest) to fix. Which means I’m not really checking my email and I’m missing a ton of stuff. It’s really just a mess over here. Plus, my apartment is a disaster, I haven’t bought a single Christmas gift, and all I want to do is lie in bed and stare at the ceiling. (That can’t be healthy, right?)
So, for those reasons (and several others) I’m taking two weeks off. I will be back on January 5 to pick up where we left off. I’m sorry if this makes you sad (totally understand if you want to cancel, no hard feelings), but hopefully, when I’m back, I’ll be fully rested (with a life is in better shape) and excited to be back at it.

Enjoy your break! I think everyone here understands that and would even be okay if you chose to take scheduled weeks off every month or so to ensure you can take care of yourself. We would rather you enjoy doing this than suffer through it!
