You're welcome. ☺️ I didn't add the Duke of Sandringham to the list because he was only mentioned at the very end of the episode and you know who he is already. Of course the little weasel is one the English investors funding the war for Prince Charles. He's playing both sides and is unclear on his political leanings. For the purpose of the story, you do not need to know anyone at the dinner party besides, Prince Charles and the Duke of Sandringham. Historically, they could be someone of importance, idk, but it doesn't matter here. Yes, the guy with the birthmark on his hand, who raped Mary, is also shown in the episode teaser after the credits. Great catch! (I love those teasers.) Maison Elise is the brothel where a majority of Jamie's meeting with the Prince occurs, so Jamie being there is understandable, but you're right, Jamie never adequately explained the bite marks on his thighs. (I did enjoy Claire's reference later on to bites being an epidemic, lol.) Although I will admit it's believable that one of the prostitutes would throw herself at a man that looks like Jamie even if he didn't encourage it. And to fit in with the Prince, he has entertained it a little. But still, really Jamie? The logic hoops Jamie jumps through to justify those bite marks to his wife are certainly hoops, and Claire’s not buying it. But, I agree with you. What came after that was the point. It actually causes Jamie to open his "fortress" and be vulnerable with Claire. What unfolds is a powerful scene about what it means to be lonely with another person: Claire feels like she’s going through the pregnancy alone, while Jamie feels alone and emotionally naked. Neither feel understood. They needed this talk. The predicament with the prostitute and Claire's anger at the situation finally laid everything on the table where she didn't feel like she needed to walk on eggshells around him. Claire was able to "validly" be angry at this (his lustful thoughts with a prostitute) without being angry at that (his lack of intimacy towards her), something Jamie had no control over even if it's affecting their marriage. By giving Jamie a chance to explain, he can finally put into words how he’s been living since the attack. “I’ve tried for so long to find a way back to you, but to not see that bastard’s face every time I take you in my arms. But tonight, I started to feel like a man again." Physical wounds heal, but the mental and emotional wounds take so much more work. I imagine it would be much harder in the 1700's to come back from that. But we finally see a genuine turning point for Jamie and Jamie and Claire. This leads to the moment we have been waiting for. Reconciliation. Claire goes to him, blesses him with her love, and brings them back together. "Find me Jamie. Find us." And Jamie’s heart and soul opens, so that once again, they can come together.  "Remember I told you I was lost? I think perhaps you’ve built me a lean-to, at least. And a roof, to keep out the rain.” This was such a beautiful scene. I'm glad Jamie is finally dealing with it and opening up to Claire. On another note, I really loved the dinner scene where Prince Charles finds out about the baby. It was all going according to plan and was about to get really entertaining. Not Mary's fault ofc, but I would have loved to see that scene play out.
