Outlander 1X14: The Search
🕑 Added 2024-04-24 20:00:05 +0000 UTCI have to say, I was kind of disappointed in this episode. I feel like we could have put so much else into it! I'm afraid that the next two episodes are going to be so full because there are so many things that still need to happen!
That said, everything that happened in this episode was good, but we just needed to add more stuff! Also, how did Dougal know what went down? I cannot figure out how he had all this information? Did he tell us and I totally zoned out?
Also, yes, as much as I hate to admit it, Dougal probably is right and would want Claire to marry him to keep her safe. But also, fuck that. Claire does what she wants. And it's easy to say that because I know how this turns out, but she can always go back on that promise. She owes Dougal nothing.
I'm so ready for the next episode!

Yeah this is one of my least favorite episodes of the show and I usually skip it on rewatches. There is good stuff but I selfishly really only like it when Jamie and Claire are together so its not a great one for me, though I do love Murtagh

I thought Murtagh's character needed this episode. They did a great job in showing who he is to Jamie and now who is to Claire. We've had so little of him up to now. You are not ready for the next two episodes. 😢
