I think I cried way more in the episode than in the previous one. I was too much in shock then, but this time, I sort of knew what I was getting into. The truth really needs to come out here. It kills me that all these people are running around thinking Jimmy killed Keith when, in actuality, the only person he killed was himself. I don't excuse him for all the other stuff (but I do have a lot of conflicting feelings about it), but we are squarely blaming him for Dan being Dan. Also, I love that the Rivercourt players just all take their cues from Luke. They know as much as they loved Keith, Luke is the one who loved him most, and they're just supporting whatever he chooses.

I hold it together every time I watch this episode until I see Jimmy's mom alone at his grave. Fuck Dan FOREVER for letting Jimmy take the blame for killing Keith. I know Jimmy made mistakes, but to have a high school kid die, and if the Rivercourt guys don't show up, she's all alone at his burial. Beyond sick and twisted.

I was utterly shocked that she said that. I could understand her being upset that Lucas put himself in the line of fire, so to speak, but to blame him for Keith's death is ludicrous to me. Ugh. I was so not expecting that scene with Whitey. I think that's why it hit harder.
