I really think both Lucas and Nathan had pretty good communication in this episode. So rare for teen TV (or any TV really).
Also, that has to be a misdirect with Peyton's mom. It's way to convenient that Lucas just happen to see her buying drugs.

I remember doing this with friends in high school. So, it totally rings true. Now, though, as an adult, I HATE the pop-in! I need notice to make sure I'm wearing pants, and my kitchen is halfway clean. Lol. That said, when I'm at my BFF's house, or she's here, we totally treat each other's space as our own. But we also live an hour away, so there is very little popping over anyway. Ha.

Had to stop mid view and say I love Peyton and Brooks friendship, very much like my best friend and myself , except for the opened door, we have keys to each others house lol. Do I check to see if she put her clothes in the dryer from the washer from the night before, as I’m grabbing cream for my coffee because I’m out? Yes. Do I walk up in the morning and she bing watching a show she just heard about, because she dose have the streaming service “plus who wants to pay for ANOTHER streaming service for one show” while eating cereal and loving my dog.. So I understand them well! lol
