We've been leaning into summoning so you can just have a jillion weird allies hanging out with you (it absolutely destroys NPC pathfinding lol) and it is ... extremely fun. Highly recommended

It's been such a delight haha - I didn't think it would happen but playing Baldur's Gate has def made me consider maybe trying out another TTRPG again (I've tried about 5 times and they've all either lost interest or never worked out schedule-wise 😭) The innate desire to do solve every puzzle as funny as possible burns hot

Haha, the point when your summons have their own summons is where the ball really starts rolling! One of my most goofy (pen and paper) pathfinder moments was desperately trying to find a way to cast “Gust of Wind”, and eventually finding we couple summon a celestial that could summon a fey that could cast gust of wind. Just the whole party flipping wildly though their high level magical Rolodexes. The summoner lifestyle is a good one.
