Ananth did a great job doing the thumbnails on this one, it's really fun and kinetic! I really enjoyed doing the moment-to-moment action here, and the character interactions. I don't get to draw kissing very much and it's always a fun challenge when it comes up!! >:D
I did two different passes at the first panel, one with peach tones (the obvious choice! more romantic!) and one with teal tones (breezier! breaks up the pacing! visually balances the last panel!). The teal version won out in the end, but I wanted to have a chance to show off the first version! I worked really hard on it! COLORS ARE HARD!
