they took my boy's ear!!! and other updates
🕑 Added 2023-07-03 21:03:20 +0000 UTChi thank you to everyone for your kind words about being miserably sick with covid ... I'm uhhh still not better. Things have been slowly improving but definitely not as fast as I'd like!!! I still haven't been able to work or do much of anything. I've been getting a lot of sleep in though, which has been very nice.
ALSO last week Rook had his long-fated EAR TIP AND TOOTH EXTRACTION!!! He's had a big birthmark on his ear that the vet finally wanted to get biopsied and the results were unusual enough they wanted to take the whole thing off. While he was there he got his teeth cleaned and they extracted three of the poor guy's teeth while they were there. Thankfully none of them were his beautiful canines, one of his top charm points imo. After being depressed about the cone for several days we were finally allowed to take it off him and he's been in much higher spirits. Please remember Rook's symmetrical head fondly. Now he is forever cosplaying a former T&R street cat.

oh NOOO... my friend's cat had to have every one of his teeth removed a few months ago! I'm relieved Rook got to keep most of his ;___;

My cat had all her canines removed a few years ago, it's so weird whenever she yawns. XD
