!ZOINKS! It’s Another Blackthorn and Celeste Halloween Special! (That wasn’t finished by Halloween!)
🕑 Added 2025-11-22 09:25:08 +0000 UTCHad a dumb idea for a Halloween comic on Halloween and didn’t want to wait until next year to do it, but it wouldn’t be a Blackthorn and Celeste Halloween comic if it was actually finished by Halloween would it?! But hey! At least it didn’t take a whole year this time (we’ll get back to the conclusion of Bare-ita 3 next update!)
... and Blackthorn is intentionally calling Gwen “Scrabby” I accidentally typed it the first time and thought it was funny so it stuck.
This version is going to all members because it’s already weird doing a Halloween comic in November, be weirder to make it a December reward….

Oh my gosh, that was great. I was laughing at every page. I just about lost it at “Turns out it was this naked bitch the whole time!” Cole saying “Yabba dabba doo” (and wearing the alternate Fred shirt from “What’s New, Scooby-Doo?”), the Hex Girls moment, “Scrabby”… this is all great. I also love that panel where they first enter the shop, with the big closeups of Ronnie and Emily arguing in the foreground. Very cool staging! And then… Celeste. I know I’ve said I’m obsessed with Ronnie, but I’m also infatuated with Celeste. She’s so great, and by far my favorite of the “secondary” characters… and she’s happy to ditch the pasties at a second’s notice if it would be good for her costume. Whatta gal!!

Hah! Yeah, Gwen and Celeste aren’t to scale in this one I guess, but I thought it was funnier if Celeste plopped her boob on Gwen’s head so I cheated their heights *juuust a bit*
