Oh, because the song uses both “sleep with me” and “dance with me” in the chorus at different point so when I’m singing along while doing dishes or drawing I just say “DANCE” like I’m censoring the lyrics, it’s a dumb joke just for me!

Okay, I have to admit that I know less about popular music than the Crane brothers… why is “dance” in brackets?? But more importantly, love some Blackthorn!!
